Tarja Turunen, who’s doing her solo career after Nightwish, wants a baby

Tarja Turunen (34), who performs on Easter at Idols Tekee hyvää- concert, now dreams of offspring.
- Oh, is my tummy bulging? No, but I have a bad case of baby fever. Me and Marcelo would be ready to have a family right away, since we have a great marriage and he’s the perfect man.

Tarja, who flew to the concert from Italy, hopes to have a child in the near future.
- I hope it happens very soon. We will raise the child in Barcelona, where we’ve build a Finnish home. We even have a sauna!

When she’s in Finland, she travels to her parent’s house to the sceneries of childhood.
- The last time I was in Kitee a week ago, when we celebrated our dad’s 70th birthday, the singer says. The couple has put their house in Kuusankoski on sale.

From the concert Tarja continued straight to Russia where she will perform at the end of the week. In the summer she will concentrate on summer festivals and making the new album. Turunen will do her only gig in Finland at Savonlinna Opera Festival.
- Even I don’t understand how I manage all this rotation. I felt for the first time last year that I have to slow down. Even though it was a great year, I got to do great concerts and release an album. I have to be glad that I have enough work.

- During the summer I will concentrate on writing and composing songs, that will be done all over the world. Depending on who I work with.
